1. Data controller

Svensk Kompositteknik AB (”SKTAB”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed on this website.

2. Data we collect

We process the following personal data:

  • Contact form & partner application: name, email, phone, company, location, message and other information you voluntarily provide.
  • Signed-in partners: email, password (hashed), uploaded files and case submissions.
  • Anonymous site analytics: a random session ID stored in your browser's sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab), visited pages, referrer and whether you click phone, email, forms or reference cases. We do not store IP addresses, names or tracking cookies.

4. Retention periods

  • Contact enquiries: up to 24 months after last contact.
  • Partner applications: duration of cooperation, then 36 months.
  • User accounts: until you request deletion.
  • Anonymous analytics: maximum 14 months.
  • Accounting records: 7 years (Swedish Accounting Act).

5. Who has access

Personal data is processed internally at SKTAB. We use the following data processors:

  • Lovable Cloud / Supabase – database, authentication and file storage (EU).
  • Email provider for outbound and reply messages.

We never sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Transfers outside the EU/EEA only occur with lawful safeguards under GDPR chapter V.

6. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • request a copy of the data we hold about you,
  • have inaccurate data corrected,
  • request erasure (“right to be forgotten”),
  • restrict or object to processing,
  • data portability in a machine-readable format,
  • withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

7. Complaints

If you believe we handle your personal data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority IMY.

8. Cookies and tracking

We do not use marketing or third-party cookies. The technical analytics is stored in sessionStorage and does not require consent under the Swedish ePrivacy implementation (LEK), as the data is anonymised and necessary for operating the service.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always available at sktab.se/en/privacy.
